At MITO, we are dedicated to promoting career pathways that support a productive, sustainable, and dynamic workforce. MITO, as an industry-owned organisation, enables training by industry, for industry.

We are a nationally based organisation, and for over 50 years have supported the automotive, commercial road transport, extractives, drilling, gas, and logistics industries in facilitating apprenticeships and industry training in the workplace.

Working with learners, employers, and training providers, we ensure people get the best possible opportunities to learn and accelerate their careers, while developing a skilled workforce for the industries we serve. We have an exciting opportunity for an equally passionate Training Advisor to help us achieve this.

As a Training Advisor, you will be a vital part of our Workforce Development Group, supporting our learners and their employers through their training programmes in the Palmerston North Region.

Leveraging your automotive industry knowledge or background, you'll be responsible for promoting, implementing, co-ordinating, and monitoring training arrangements, providing pastoral care, and ensuring our apprentices and employers are equipped for success.

This is a highly rewarding role; a commitment to see learners achieve is paramount to your job satisfaction.
