Are you looking for a hands-on way to inspire your students about automotive careers? MITO’s Automotive Careers Bus Tours are back and better than ever!

These free, fully-organised tours give secondary school teachers, career advisors, and gateway coordinators the chance to bring Year 11–13 students behind the scenes of the automotive industry. Each tour visit showcases the exciting career pathways available through on-the-job learning and apprenticeships.

Whether your students are curious about cars, trucks, or tech, these tours offer a real-world glimpse into the industry and the people who power it. Ideal for students considering MITO’s StartUp® micro-credential programme to explore automotive careers.

What you need to know

Free to attend—no cost to schools or students.
Open to all secondary schools with Year 11–13 students.
Tours run in Term 1 and Term 2 across the motu.
Registrations close 3-weeks prior to the tour date.
After registrations close, MITO will confirm your school’s allocation of student and teacher spaces.
