MITO is committed to supporting your wellbeing throughout your training.

Support on and off the job

Whether you’re managing stress, facing challenges in your personal life, or simply need someone to talk to, free and confidential support is available to help you stay safe, healthy, and focused on your goals.

Free, confidential counselling support

MITO learners* have access to a free counselling service. This is offered throughout New Zealand by a provider called Vitae. As well as being free, it’s completely confidential and available 24/7.

Appointments with a counsellor can be conducted face to face, through Zoom or similar, or by phone. Find out more on the support services available to you via the link below. To make an appointment simply fill out the form here or call 0508 664 981.

*Excludes secondary school learners.

Be Active | Me Kori Tonu

Being active throughout the workday supports both physical and mental wellbeing. Movement can reduce stress, improve resilience, and enhance focus—especially when it’s built into your routine.
