Apprenticeship Boost

Apprenticeship Boost is a $500 a month payment to eligible employers of apprentices in their first year of training. 

The targeted occupations that are eligible for Apprenticeship Boost from 1 January 2025 include Automotive Engineering and Technology (which includes commercial road transport), Process and Resources Engineering (which includes extractives and drilling), and Other Engineering and Technology (which includes gas).

This means that all MITO apprenticeship programmes will continue to be supported by Apprenticeship Boost.

Fees free

Signing up a first-time tertiary learner? They may be able to get Fees Free after completing their first eligible qualification or programme.

MITO scholarships

MITO’s scholarship programme, delivered in partnership with the Inspiring Futures Foundation, supports aspiring and current learners to progress their skills and knowledge. 

Scholarships contribute towards apprenticeships, training programmes, and business or technical qualifications.
