In this exciting part-time casual role, you will inspire and encourage our apprentices, build their confidence and uplift their mana as you guide their progress toward a brighter future as a qualified professional in their field.

We support on-job learning and career development for the automotive, commercial road transport, extractives, gas and logistics industries.

We work with learners, their employers and training providers, to ensure people get the best possible opportunities to learn and advance their career, while developing a skilled workforce.

We’d like to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience developing and implementing Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) for learners with dyslexia, specific learning disabilities, or other learning difficulties, and providing ongoing support throughout their learning journey.
  • The ability to work one-on-one with learners, offering guidance, encouragement, and tailored support to help them successfully complete their training programme.
  • A relevant adult education, literacy, numeracy, or learning support qualification.
  • A current full New Zealand driver licence and the ability to travel as required.
  • The right to live and work in New Zealand.

This is a highly rewarding casual role that is part of our extended mentoring programme.
