About this award
Recognises outstanding apprentices and other learners from across MITO’s industries who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to their training, strong technical competence, professionalism, and a positive contribution to their workplace and the wider industry.
This award celebrates apprentices and learners who excel in their practical and theoretical learning; demonstrate initiative, problem‑solving, and a strong work ethic; contribute positively to their workplace teams; uphold safety, professionalism, and industry standards; show resilience and dedication to completing their qualification.
There are seven separate awards, one for each of MITO's industries, to acknowledge the unique demands, skills, and knowledge required: Automotive, Collision Repair, Commercial Road Transport, Extractives, Gas, Drilling, and Logistics.
Submitting entries
You can enter yourself, submit an entry on behalf of a person you work with or represent, or nominate another individual. Please make sure the details you provide are accurate and clearly outline why this person deserves recognition in this category.
