You can access your programme resources, including study guides, videos, and online assessments, at any time and from any device – mobile phone, tablet, or computer. 

Real-time results and progress reports are available through MITO’s online portal to both you and your supervisor.

Programme outline

This programme is all about building confidence, capability, and leadership in the collision repair or automotive refinishing industry.

You’ll learn how to apply current health and safety practices while finding smarter, more efficient ways to get things done.

Along the way, you’ll tackle complex projects using specialised skills, put quality systems and continuous improvement into action, and discover how to keep processes running smoothly and efficiently.

You'll also grow your ability to mentor and guide others, so everyone works safely, within their strengths, and delivers top-quality results every time.

To enter this programme you must have completed either:

  • New Zealand Certificate in Automotive Refinishing (Level 4); or
  • New Zealand Certificate in Automotive Collision Repair (Non-Structural Repairer) (Level 4) with optional strand in Structural Repair Technician.

Training fee

The training fee is $600* (excluding GST). Note this is a fixed fee and is non-refundable.
