Zena-Harding

Zena Harding is a log truck driver for Heagney Bros in Blenheim, starting each day before sunrise and learning the ropes through the company’s cadetship programme.

Chosen from more than 50 applicants, she immediately impressed CEO Mickayla Kerr with her determination, curiosity, and strong work ethic.

With over a year in the industry, Zena has gained a real understanding of the skill involved in safe logging—from securing loads correctly to navigating changing road conditions.

MITO training has helped her build the knowledge and confidence she needs on the job, and her advice to newcomers is simple: ask questions, seek support, and keep learning.
