In 2025, MITO launched four new micro-credentials focused on the tyre industry, offering a clear and structured training pathway for individuals entering or progressing within the sector where there hadn’t been before.
One business taking up this training is Carter’s Tyre Service Gore. We sat down with business owners Kelly-Anne and Dean Findlay, and two of their technicians Saxton-Lee and Curly, who have completed some of the micro-credentials, to talk about the importance of these programmes for the industry, and what they can offer specialist tyre workshops.
