Michelle Findlater, Dealer Principal of Southern Automobiles and the 2025 recipient of the MITO and Inspiring Futures Foundation Janet Lane MNZM scholarship, has begun her studies at Harvard University.
The on-campus component marks a key milestone in Michelle’s leadership journey—one that reflects the intent of the scholarship to grow senior leaders who will have a lasting impact on New Zealand’s automotive sector.
The Janet Lane MNZM scholarship supports intensive, high-level leadership development, and Michelle’s pathway—from completing MITO qualifications earlier in her career to now studying at Harvard—highlights the long-term value of vocational learning combined with continued professional development.
Well, I’ve just completed my first day at Harvard and what a truly amazing experience, from walking in the doors, to the calibre of the tutor, level of education content and the participants, it has been the most awesome day!
Day two tomorrow with some homework to complete tonight, can’t wait!
