Great news! As part of Budget 2023 the Government has announced that the Apprenticeship Boost scheme has been extended by a year until 31 December 2024.

Apprenticeship Boost provides employers of apprentices with a payment of $500 per month per apprentice in the first and second year of their apprenticeship.

“It’s fantastic to see the Government continue their commitment to apprenticeships and trades training with the extension of Apprenticeship Boost.” says MITO Executive Director Verna Niao. “Employers make a significant contribution when supporting their apprentices’ training in the first two years. The financial support is definitely worthwhile and well received by employers.”
