SpeedMeet brings together students and employers from a variety of industries 'speed-dating style', via short six-minute mini-interviews. If both employer and student note that they are interested, a match is made, and the student's contact details are passed on to the prospective employer.

MITO, along with other industry training organisations and in partnership with Ministry of Education, hosts SpeedMeet each year. Think job hunting, speed-dating style! See some highlights from 2022!

AUTOMOTIVE BUS TOURS

Showcasing opportunities that exist for on-the-job learning and apprenticeships in the automotive industry, these tours are the perfect opportunity for you and your students to get a behind-the-scenes look at automotive workshops in your region. 

These behind-the-screens tours of the automotive industry gave students an opportunity to get up close to a variety of careers that the industry offers. We were pleased to showcase the industry to a total of 244 participants over the nine tours in 2022.
