Midas Mt Eden is looking for a solid, reliable, and honest technician. We are a busy Central Auckland workshop that prides ourselves on great customer service and one of the best automotive working environments in Auckland.

We offer a family-friendly environment, so you must be mature and looking to grow in your career as a technician.

You need to be a competent mechanic, qualified technician or superstar apprentice. Ideally 5 years of experience but we are happy to chat with successful apprentices who have a real interest in learning and progressing their automotive career.

You need to have a good work ethic, practical skills and have a passion for working on cars. We work on a wide variety of vehicles from older Japanese through to modern European - an interest in diagnostics and repairs of modern vehicles is a must.

Essentials:

• Knowledge of automotive systems including electrical and diagnostics
• Minimum 2-3 years of automotive experience
• Is reliable and committed
• Follows instructions and takes pride in their work
• Is confident with computers
• Current driver license
• NZ work permit/visa.

Advantages:

• Current WOF certificate
• Diagnostic and/or electrical training.
