About your new role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a part time (3 days per week) Payroll and HR Administrator to join our team! You will be adaptable, have a positive can-do attitude and ability to build relationships with people at all levels. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your responsibilities will vary from ensuring accurate and timely processing of weekly pays and supporting the Payroll Manager with monthly payroll functions. In addition, you will provide back-up support to the HR team will various HR administration duties. This role may be suitable for someone who is returning to the workforce and is able to work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant payroll/accounting experience
  • Knowledge of current NZ employment legislation
  • IT literacy, especially in respect of Microsoft Excel (Intermediate level or above)
  • Previous experience using Datapay or similar payroll systems
  • An eye for detail and accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Multi-tasker
  • Be a team player.
