"I'm passionate about apprenticeships. Having done my own, I know they're a great way for people to gain the skills and qualifications they need to contribute the most to a business.
I completed my own apprenticeship in the 1980s, then worked overseas before coming home and buying Fitzroy Automotive with my husband Warrick, about 4 years ago.
I believe apprenticeships are really important for the future of our industry. There are always people at the other end either retiring or leaving, so we need to bring in new skills and talent.
If we don't train, we risk our own existence!"
