Amy Coghlan is having success with her ATech® programme on the job at Carpro Howick Ltd in Auckland.
"I'm enjoying extending my study to do the ATech® programme - it's a real step up from my National Certificate in Automotive Refinishing.
For a start you have to think differently. You're not given material to learn from, you have to look for it yourself, then work out how to use it to do things better in your everyday job.
It also takes a lot of time and effort - in your own time - so you need to have a good attitude if you want to succeed. The results are worth it. You learn a lot more about the stuff you do at work and how businesses operate.
I love my job as a refinisher, especially seeing the results of my work. ATech® will take me further - and look really good on my CV!"
