StartUp® is MITO’s automotive training programme for secondary school students.

It opens up exciting new pathways for students keen on a career in the motor industry.

What is StartUp®?

StartUp® is a programme designed to meet the needs of students wanting to experience the reality of working in the motor industry.

StartUp® students take both theory and practical unit standards, working to achieve the National Certificate in Motor Industry (Foundation Skills) (Level 1).

Getting started with StartUp®

Your students first complete the Ignition programme in the classroom. Then they can work towards completing the Accelerate programme.

MITO will be able to help you to find a local employer for your students if you need us to.

We guarantee that your students’ programme is relevant to the industry. We provide all training materials, resources, and assessments. They reflect the industry’s needs.
