Help kick-start the next generation of apprentices with StartUp®.
What is StartUp®?
StartUp® is MITO's motor industry training programme for secondary school students.
With StartUp® you get the opportunity to train someone in your own workplace at a crucial stage of their life. By getting new people interested in an automotive career, you can have an influence on the entire industry.
All it will cost you is time.
How does StartUp® work?
The StartUp® programme is coordinated through the student’s secondary school, with MITO providing resources and assessment. It has both theory and practical unit standards. Students have to complete essential theory work before they come to the workplace for their practical training.
You get to meet any potential students before committing to their placement with you. You are under no obligation to take on a StartUp® student for longer than the placement. However, you may find the students fit in well with your business and you can encourage them to sign up for an apprenticeship with you.
