We have designed this programme to cover the widest possible range of workplace situations.
You will get customised resources and study materials for all the unit standards you need to complete.
During the programme, you will:
Tutorial workshops
You will attend tutorial workshops over the 2 years - approximately one every two months.

Achieving your qualifications
You need a total of 118 credits to complete the programme and gain the qualifications.

What support you get to do the programme
When you enrol in MITO's Business Administration Programme, you can be assured of plenty of assistance.
Your MITO Industry Training Advisor
Your local MITO Industry Training Advisor (ITA) is there to support you the entire way! Before you enrol, your MITO ITA will meet you and your employer to explain the programme and answer any questions you may have. From then on, they are only a phone call away.
MITO National Office
The team at MITO National Office is also just a phone call away. Just call the freephone number at 0800 88 21 21 and they will help you with anything you need.
Your training provider
A training company has been engaged by MITO to deliver the tutorial workshops. Their trainers are available to answer your questions during your participation in the programme.
The training company is also responsible for reviewing and marking your work and providing you with feedback.
In your workplace
Your employer or supervisor will be a great source of support and relevant information during your study. They'll be able to help you learn more about the business and industry.
Programme costs and financial help
MITO Business Administration Programme training fee
You pay MITO a training fee of $880 (GST exclusive) each year (2011 prices). This covers all your training and assessment costs, including:
Financial help with your costs
Some employers agree to cover part or all of the cost of the annual training fee.
Some banks may offer tertiary packages that can help with your fees while you're working towards your industry qualification.
If you have links with Māori iwi, you may be able to get assistance through them. For further information, contact your rūnanga, marae committee, or trust board.
Your payment options
You can pay your annual training fee by cheque, cash, internet banking, direct credit, or credit card (Visa or MasterCard).

Check out that you have the support of your employer to enrol for the programme. Invite your local MITO ITA to come and discuss the programme with you and your employer. Its important that you get all your questions answered!
How you enrol
It's simple! Just contact your local MITO ITA or MITO National Office. We need a minimum number of enrolments within a region to be able to offer the MITO Business Administration Programme. We can confirm your starting date when you enquire.
