People credited with this unit standard are able to achieve high-quality work outcomes, apply quality control standards to the job, and inspect the quality of work completed by others in the motor and related industries.

Should I have completed any other unit standards first?

We recommend you should have completed unit standard 21078 (Demonstrate knowledge of quality control standards in the motor and related industries) or be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills.

How will this unit standard be assessed?

You will be required to:

  • achieve high-quality work outcomes, meeting customer and employer expectations
  • apply quality standards to the job, ensuring the task and related documentation are completed correctly
  • identify and inspect the quality of work completed by others.

This will involve completing a workplace report.
