  • investigate a reported automotive mechanical and/or bodywork problem
  • determine the cause and solution to the problem
  • supervise the rectification of the problem.

How will this unit standard be assessed?

You will be required to:

  • investigate a reported automotive mechanical and/or bodywork problem verifying the symptoms and identifying the issues
  • determine the cause and solution to any problems
  • supervise the rectification and retesting of any problems.

This will involve completing a workplace report.
