Purpose and content of the National Certificate
Purpose:
This certificate is designed as the national qualification for people working in the vehicle grooming sector of the motor industry. This qualification recognises the knowledge and skills required to carry out all tasks required in vehicle grooming from booking in work, giving advice to customers on vehicle care requirements, detailing and grooming interior and exterior of vehicles, looking after the stock and plant, to selling service and vehicle care products.
