Holders of the Commercial Vehicle strand, as well as being credited with the compulsory unit standards, will have the option of making and assembling vehicle chassis drop sections, make and fit a draw beam to a vehicle, fit a hoist to a vehicle, fit curtain rails and sides, fit a tail lift, design, make and modify vehicle seat frames, and make a flat deck truck body and headboard.
Commercial Vehicles Strand
A minimum of 20 credits, of which a minimum of 18 credits is at levels 4, is required from the following unit standards.
Welding
